Who Are TSZX?

Lina - Dana - Stephanie - Sunday

The Grace (Korean: 천상지희 더 그레이스; Chinese: 天上智喜 The Grace) is a South Korean a capella girl group formed by SM Entertainment in 2005. It consists of four members that specialize in singing, dancing, and acting.

The Grace was known as TSZX before the promotion of their 3rd Korean single (My Everything) around the end of 2006, at which the group changed their name to The Grace to signal the change of the group's style to a more “graceful” one. TSZX is the romanization of the Mandarin Chinese pronunciation, Tiān Shàng Zhì Xǐ. In Japan, the group is still officially known as Tenjōchiki, which is also abbreviated (though less frequently) as TJCK.

'SM TOWN LA Performance’ To Be Released In Theaters In 3D

Posted by Anonymous On Tuesday, September 07, 2010 0 comments

The SM TOWN Live ’10 World Tour in L.A. performance is set to show in cinemas as a 3D movie.

The concert, held on September 9th at the L.A. Staples Center, was filmed by PACE which was founded by ‘Avatar’ director James Cameron and specializes in 3D movie production. Not only will the footage be used in promotions for sponsor Samsung Electronics’ 3D display products, it will also be created into a movie and shown in theaters.

A representative of SM stated, “The movie will probably be released in theaters between the end of this year and the beginning of next year. We believe it will be popular, not only in Korea, but also in China and Southeast Asia.”

Girls’ Generation and BoA have already filmed music videos with PACE, but this will be the first time that a Korean concert has been filmed in 3D. The PACE team and Samsung have already worked with hip-hop group Black Eyed Peas in their Manhattan, New York performance in March.

Take a Peak at the SM Town Chartered Flight

Posted by Anonymous On Sunday, September 05, 2010 0 comments

A couple of days ago, the SM family boarded their plane at Incheon Airport for their next stop of SMTOWN Live ‘10 World Tour in Los Angeles, which will be taking place on September 4th.

For the very first time, SM Entertainment raked up a whopping 1 billion won for the expenses of their own chartered plane, a Boeing 747-400, which calculates to $851,000 USD. A total of 250 people, including staff, bodyguards, press reporters and 40 of SM artists, were all on board to LA.

The first artist to step foot on the chartered plane was Super Junior’s leader, Lee Teuk. Through the in-flight mic, Lee Teuk said, “When you talk loudly in public places, people glare at you and say, “Do you guys think you own this place?” Why yes, we really do own this!”, which made everyone laugh.

Kim Min Jong and Kangta had a fun time of their own, acting as stewards as they went around the whole plane, serving wine and swiping cards, and when they finished, Kangta made a toast to ‘South Korea to the world‘.

The first floor business section of the chartered plane consisted of Kangta, BoA, Kim Min Jong, DBSK’s Uknow Yunho and Max Changmin, SNSD and f(x). Super Junior and SHINee took over the business section of the second floor. Given the nickname ‘Charlie’s Angels‘, SNSD’s Yuri and actress Lee Yeon Hee sat together to gossip.

Inside the chartered plane, BoA commented, “I always travel to America, but since this time I’m going with other artists, it feels really good”, while Yunho adding, “It feels like we’re going on a reunion trip.”

Posted by Anonymous On Wednesday, September 01, 2010 0 comments

A private plane will be chartered for “SMTOWN LIVE ’10 WORLD TOUR in LA” performance.

In upcoming November 4th (Note: This is a typo, the concert is September 4th), SMTOWN LIVE performance, the same as one held in Seoul on last August 21th, will be held in Staples Center, LA, United States. Line up SM artists such as Kang Ta, BoA, Yunho, Changmin, Super Junior, SNSD, SHINee, f(x), TRAX, Kim Min Jong, Yeon-hee, and Ara will unite to do the concert performance together for all fans in LA. For this purpose, a Korean Air Boeing 747-400 that has capacity of 300 people is specially chartered to fly all the artists and staff members.

“SMTOWN LIVE ’10 WORLD TOUR” is not only a massive world tour that mobilize a lot of top artists, but it will also become a show of many exceptional performances that ever seen, meanwhile using a chartered flight for a tour to move all the artists and staffs together is still very rare especially in Korea. Therefore, with this announcement of the upcoming excellence performances from a lot of top Korean pop stars is expected to grow many interests from fans.

“SMTOWN LIVE ’10 WORLD TOUR in LA” began to sell tickets on last May 24th, and there was a huge responses for the tickets that 15,000 seats were quickly sold out as soon as it opened. In fact only top American artists could sell out all seats in Staples Center, thus according to insiders, this SMTOWN LIVE high ticket sales surprised even the local industry officials.

SM official said, “70% of the ticket buyers are non-Koreans from Vancouver, Canada including Toronto, New York, Washington DC, South Carolina, and Georgia. By looking at this, it’s proven that SM Entertainment’s attempt to advance the global competitiveness and popularity of its artists has finally realized.”

“SMTOWN LIVE’10 WORLD TOUR’ just finished its performance in Seoul Jamsil Olympic Main Stadium in great success last August 21st, and is planned to fly to LA to take another stage that will draw audiences’ breath with even more passionate performances.
