Who Are TSZX?

Lina - Dana - Stephanie - Sunday

The Grace (Korean: 천상지희 더 그레이스; Chinese: 天上智喜 The Grace) is a South Korean a capella girl group formed by SM Entertainment in 2005. It consists of four members that specialize in singing, dancing, and acting.

The Grace was known as TSZX before the promotion of their 3rd Korean single (My Everything) around the end of 2006, at which the group changed their name to The Grace to signal the change of the group's style to a more “graceful” one. TSZX is the romanization of the Mandarin Chinese pronunciation, Tiān Shàng Zhì Xǐ. In Japan, the group is still officially known as Tenjōchiki, which is also abbreviated (though less frequently) as TJCK.

PopSeoul: CSJH The Grace can sing but is that enough?

Posted by Anonymous On Tuesday, May 05, 2009

So what happened to CSJH The Grace?

Looking at some of the comments about T-ara’s lack of originality and the overall lack of solid talent in the Korean music industry, some people hold fond memories of this little group called CSJH the Grace. Most of you will probably not know who they are since SM Entertainment has failed to promote them.

CSJH The Grace in 2005 as an acappella version of Dong-bang-shin-ki. However, SM rightly ditched the acappella concept. With armed with their vocal ability and supposed natural beauty, (although a few “natural” adjustments would not be out of the question), they were left to languish in Korea.

In the past 3 years, they’ve been somewhat back and forth between Korea and Japan. So with a lack of a strong market target, they have yet to build up a crazy fan base. For now though, Rhythm Zone, their management in Japan, has amped up their promotional schedule. The girls have finished their first live tour in late March 2008.

There’s been some speculation about CSJH The Grace making a comeback in Korea sometime soon either this year or the following year. According to CSJH The Grace’s Staff Diary, they’ve been visiting Korea as of late. For what? Possibly just to rest, but fans are holding hope that they are being productive during their time in Korea and working on their comeback.

We could really use a comeback from these ladies, especially in the current landscape of groups that can’t stand to sing without a back-up track and rely on their image too much.

  1. ez Said,

I so agree. The girl groups that are left in Korea are PALE in comparison to TSZX. Wait, they can ever stand next to TSZX without failing. LOL, I love TSZX and I need them to stay in the industry, no matter where. TSZX should really stay in Japan, because Korea's filled with (never mind). =)) TSZX hwaiting <3

I've read this post in Popseoul..and some of the comments peole leave there are just... tsk tsk tsk. Unbearable. They dont know our girls and yet they say such things. But I'm glad that a blog like Popseoul which bashes artistes every other day sang praises of CSJH. Since they have also raised the similar speculation like we have of a possible comeback, it might be true after all.
I miss our girls so so so much... and i hope Stephy recovers soon... Awaiting their comeback!
